As members of the Leviathan Air Aggies Create team, we are tasked with designing and constructing a drone launcher capable of propelling a 10-foot drone weighing 55 lbs to a velocity of 40 mph. The design must be compact, easily maneuverable, safe, reliable, and capable of launching different types of drones by including a universal mounting plate. Our launch system will ultimately be delivered to Leviathan Air, an Austin startup, to assist their own prototyping efforts. Check back later to see our progress!
