SCCA Enterprises reached out to Aggies Create to inspire the development of a modern, hybrid race car concept that could influence future designs of grassroots race cars. The base of the car utilizes the current SCCA Enterprises Spec Racer Ford Gen3 chassis with a new hybrid powertrain. Our team is developing a bespoke electric powertrain to work in conjunction with a retrofitted Ford Bronco Sport 1.5L engine. We have successfully created CAD models proving our concepts and will now be moving into creating physical prototypes. Check back later to see our progress!
