01- New Consulting Project

Polymer Products Manufacturing

Aggies Create has been tasked with designing an automation system for an existing manufacturing process. This includes everything from planning out the physical arrangement of components to the mechanical design, electrical connections, and fabrication required to make a functional prototype. We’re currently looking to form a team of 4-5 students to tackle this engineering challenge!

Desired Skills: CAD, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Systems Planning

02 - New Create Labs Project

Aggies Create Website

Aggies Create wants to code up a new version of its website, and we need 4 awesome web developers to get this off the ground. The objective will be to model the website based on the existing design but to build it from scratch.

Desired Skills: Web Dev (Frontend & Backend)

03- New Consulting Project

Aksa Oils

Aggies Create is working with a low volume manufacturer of organic skincare products. We are tasked with enhancing the feel of the website and current marketing strategy to better reach the intended consumer, and we need 4 students to make it happen. There is a lot of creative freedom in this project, so the scope can also be expanded to integrate more innovative technical solutions if they help meet the original need.

Desired Skills: Marketing, Visualization, Web Dev

04 - Continuing

Create Labs Project

PETRA (Formerly Plasma Torch)

Our team is looking to take plasma to the next level and create a device to produce titanium efficiently. They already have a design laid out and need 2 more students to test the existing prototype and to continue improving the design.

Desired Skills: Chemistry/Material Science, Product Design, Manufacturing

05 - Continuing Consulting Project

Waltech

We are working with WalTech to bring smart home automation features into RVs using an easy to install relay board! This semester, we will be improving our circuit/PCB design to provide more features for a lower cost, along with developing a robust Bluetooth Low Energy interface in C++.

Aggies Create needs 2 students experienced/willing to work with RF technologies like Zigbee and BLE to control a switch panel remotely from a controller hub. There are many open-source resources using Expressif and Arduino to learn the necessary skills, so consider applying if you are interested in this type of work.

Desired Skills: RF technologies, Zigbee, BLE, ESP32, Arduino/C++

07 - Continuing Consulting Project

Dynamic Survey Tool

Professor Deere is looking to develop a data transmission and analysis tool for drilling oil, and we need one more dedicated student to make it happen!
