The Solar District Cup team competed in the national competition hosted by the US Department of Energy. Our team created a solar energy and storage system for an upscale retail and entertainment district, Lake Nona Town Center located in Orlando, Florida. The team not only designed the photovoltaic system, but also analyzed the financial, environmental, and distribution impact. This team presented their proposal and placed 2nd! They began developing their proposal in Fall 2022.
