Cattle Feed System

The aim of this project is to develop an automatic, 40ft shipping-container-based cattle-feed system that provides ranchers with a reliable, low-labor method for producing supplemental fodder year-round. Integrating essential functions such as grow lights, automatic seed spreading, watering reclamation, grow-light control, and automatic sanitation, solar/battery power system. Overall, creating a self-sustaining fodder production environment that minimizes manual labor and focuses on simplicity and serviceability.

Incubator Project

Online shopping is fragmented across dozens of tabs and websites, forcing shoppers to mentally compare items from different brands and imagine how they look together, often leading to decision fatigue and abandoned purchases. Aiphrodite solves this by giving users a persistent, cross site visual workspace directly in their browser.

Through a Chrome extension, shoppers can right click products on any website to add them to a floating overlay that follows them across tabs, allowing items from different stores to be viewed side by side in one place. The extension optionally layers in light AI feedback, such as compatibility insights or missing piece suggestions, to help users make confident decisions without interrupting their shopping flow or requiring a new app.

Create Labs Project

The Haptic Portal

The Haptic Portal is a telepresence system designed to physically render remote objects in real-time.

It features a sensor input module that detects an object's shape and a synchronous pin array output that recreates the object with a motorized pin grid. In short, users will "feel" what the sensor sees from a distance.

Eventually, we hope to assist visually impaired individuals and enhance haptic feedback in medical robotics by translating visual data into tactile information. The Haptic Portal recently won 1st Place in the Presentations category at the Fall 2025 Innovation Expo.

Dynamic Survey Tool

Professor Deere is looking to develop a data transmission and analysis tool for drilling oil, and we need one more dedicated student to make it happen! The goal is to create a system that accurately measures the orientation/trajectory of the wellbore and determines the drilling mode (drilling farther down or pulling out wellbore to the surface).
