Certain applications and living situations require people to frequently transport items up and down one or more floors without the help of an elevator. This task can be tiring, uncomfortable, and dangerous depending on the items being carried, since these may keep your hands full. This team sought to potentially solve this problem by developing a motorized wagon, similar to a shopping cart, specifically for moving up and down stairs. This team considered selling to college students or delivery companies (mail, groceries, moving, etc) where heavy loads were moving difficult items up and down stairs were a bigger concern.
