This interest-based product design group worked on a mini satellite kit that could be widely available and adaptable to each user's needs. Access to space is inherently cost-prohibitive, partially due to the cost and size of equipment needed in a satellite. Planned capabilities included different sensor attachments for measuring atmosphere conditions as well as a camera for taking beautiful pictures from space. This was mainly intended for hobbyists, space enthusiasts, and the general public.
