Another team that we sadly have to say goodbye to is our Ecofil team! As an effort to combat the inherent wastefulness of 3D printing, the team designed a system to recycle filament waste. Their solution was to create a reproducible filament extruder for <$1,000 that produces PLA filament. This team worked hard to deliver an eco-friendly and affordable alternative to the more expensive filament recycling options. We are so proud of their final product and cannot wait to see where this takes them!
